Shikoku 88 Temples The Sequel

It has been a while since I have last blogged! I hope to do more blogging during the next few weeks.
What I wanted to blog about today is that I have started to visit the temples on the Shikoku 88 Temple pilgrimage for the second time. When I lived in Kagawa Prefecture from 2003 to 2006 I spent time taking day trips driving to all the temples.  Now I decided to visit them again. Just like I did the last time I am going backwards starting in Kagawa Prefecture at temple #88. The first trip I took on May 5, 2012 and visited these 6 temples: # 88 Ōkubo-ji (大窪寺), #87 Nagao-ji (長尾寺), #86 Shido-ji (志度寺), #85 Yakuri-ji (八栗寺), #84 Yashima-ji (屋島寺) #83 Ichinomiya-ji (一宮寺).
Visiting these temples is a great way to see the Shikoku Region of Japan and a change to meet a lot of really nice people that you meet by chance at the various temples. I hope to visit some more during the summer.
