As I am a magician I love playing cards so I was excited to see when Bicycle released their 125 anniversary playing cards. At the moment only Theory11 sells them. I ordered 6 right away 3 red and 3 blue. And now they are here safely in Japan with me. I will not use these for performances except for special cased but they are great just for my magic collection. I have not tested them out much yet but I will to see how they are for performing. I am just happy to get the anniversary cards as these cards are probably the most used by magician throughout the world.
I am preparing for a magic competition. It has been years since I have done that. The competition is a fun bar magician competition that will be held at my friends magic bar. The bar is called Bar Intinki Magican. The competition is Saturday October 3, 2009 at the magic bar in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan. I am looking forward to this competition, partly as it is a fun competition and I will get to see a lot of my Japanese magic friends. As well it has given me some motivation to create some brand new material. During the event I will try to get a video taken of my performance.
